This project and site is created and maintained by Terry Hoknes who is a 2nd generation music entertainer in Saskatoon.  Terry has performed professionally for over 20 years and has played with a 1,000 different musicians over the years in this city.  His father Robert Hoknes has entertained for 45 years!  The two of them have mixed with Saskatoon musicians of 3 different generations.

Terry is a big fan of the internet and the potential of resources at your fingertips and wanted to start a project that would teach a history lesson and also archive rare materials that in most cases were only known to our city.

This site is not for profit.  The goal here is to simply share a vast history of great music and the site will not generate any revenue.  However any musicians that still have CD's for sale can definitely include their contact info to advertise any materials on the site.

Saskatoon is most for being the home of Joni Mitchell, Wide Mouth Mason, The Sheepdogs, Theresa Sokyrka, Tim Vaughn, One Bad Son, Josh Palmer among many others BUT the point of this site is to archive the 99% who may not have had national success but were an important part of Saskatoon's music scene over the years.   This could be your band, or your grandfathers!  We want to share this amazing rare material with everyone!
